About Sugar Mill Lakes

Sugar Mill Lakes is a nice little community in Palmetto, close to Ellenton.

There are a couple of things I really like about Sugar Mill Lakes.

1. It is developed by a local builder, Geartz Construction.  They have been around for a very long time and have a great reputation.
2. The lots are bugger than most other new construction.  These lots start out at 80×110 which is a great size if you want a pool.
3. You can get a custom home for the price of a standard one.  They will allow you to make changes to the floor plans.  Most other builders will not let you do this.
4. The Homeowner Association fees are some of the lowest I have found.  At the time of this posting, they are only $560 per year.  There is a one time fee of $75 at closing.
5. There are NO CDD fees!!
6. You can buy your lot now and build later.
7. There are several lakes in Sugar Mill Lakes which gives you a great opportunity to build on the lakefront.
8. They have tennis and basketball courts.
9. Tot Lot play area, picnic areas and an athletic field.
10. A beautiful nature trail with viewing benches.
